What is the warranty for?

Manufacturing and material defects under normal use.

From delivery, with correct installation and maintenance.

How long is the warranty?

The warranty period varies per component. This way, you're properly covered where it matters, and you know exactly what you're getting.

Warranty periods

  • Construction & aluminum frame → up to 5 years
  • Moving parts (slats, hinges, manual operation) → up to 2 years
  • Electrical parts (motors, lighting, controls) → up to 2 years
  • Accessories (such as screens) → up to 2 years

This warranty applies only to the original owner and is not transferable.

What is covered by the warranty?

The Skyggo product warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing and material defects
  • Defects during normal and correct use
  • Problems that arise with correct installation according to the manual

If a problem is covered by the warranty, Skyggo will provide the necessary parts to repair the defect.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear or discoloration due to sun and weather influences
  • Scratches, aesthetic damage or damage due to use
  • Damage due to incorrect or improper use
  • Damage due to incorrect or incomplete installation
  • Damage due to insufficient or incorrect anchoring
  • Damage due to reinstallation or disassembly
  • Damage due to storm, extreme wind, snow load or force majeure
  • Damage due to lack of maintenance
  • Damage caused by third parties, animals or external influences
  • Consequential damage to other property

Any adjustments or modifications to the product that have not been approved by Skyggo will also void the warranty.

Product warranty & installation

Skyggo guarantees product quality , not installation execution.

If you choose installation through the Skyggo network, we'll connect you with experienced, independent installers . These installers work independently and are responsible for ensuring a correct installation.

Any installation errors or placement problems are not covered by Skyggo's product warranty and should be discussed directly with the installer.

Correct use & maintenance

To maintain the warranty it is important that:

  • The pergola is used correctly
  • Regular maintenance is done
  • Louvres are fully opened in strong winds

Damage due to extreme weather conditions or improper use is not covered by the warranty and must be reported to your insurance company.

Do I need to have my pergola dismantled in the event of a warranty claim?

No. In most cases, photos or videos are sufficient. We will only contact you for further follow-up if necessary.

Is labor or installation also covered by the warranty?

The warranty covers parts and materials only.

Can I also be helped after my warranty period?

Yes. Even outside of the warranty period, we're happy to assist you and find a suitable solution through service or replacement parts.
