Installation
SKALA is built for maximum strength and stability. Installation is logical and well-planned, but due to its robust construction, precise alignment is essential for the correct operation of the motorized louvers, drainage, and lighting.
Installation should always be carried out on a flat, stable surface and must be correctly anchored in accordance with the manual.

Maintenance
SKALA is built for intensive use and requires little maintenance. Regular inspection is enough to keep everything running smoothly and durable.
Cleaning
Clean the aluminum frame, slats, and LED zones with a soft cloth and lukewarm water. Avoid abrasive or harsh products.
Slats and motor
Check occasionally that the slats move freely and are not blocked by dirt, leaves or snow.
Water drainage
Keep gutters and drain openings clear to allow for the smooth drainage of rainwater.
Weather and wind
In very strong winds, it is best to open the slats fully to limit the load.
Not in use
Make sure everything is clean and dry when the pergola is not in use for an extended period of time.

Hoe bedien ik de SKALA pergola?
SKALA is elektrisch bedienbaar via de meegeleverde afstandsbediening en via de Tuya app. Je regelt lamellen, licht en ventilatie eenvoudig, ook vanop afstand.
Kan ik de SKALA zelf installeren?
Ja, maar SKALA is een zware constructie. Je hebt minstens drie personen nodig en moet nauwkeurig werken volgens het montageplan. Wie zekerheid wil, kan kiezen voor professionele plaatsing via Skyggo monteurs.
Welk gereedschap heb ik nodig voor de installatie?
Je hebt geen gespecialiseerd gereedschap nodig. Wel standaard tools zoals:

Basiskennis voor elektrische aansluiting volstaat. Alles wordt duidelijk uitgelegd in de handleiding.
Welk formaat SKALA past het best bij mijn terras?
Dat hangt af van de beschikbare ruimte en het gebruik. Meet je terras zorgvuldig op en kies een formaat dat past bij zithoek, eethoek of volledige overkapping. Alle afmetingen vind je in de configurator en technische specificaties.
Heb ik een vergunning nodig voor een SKALA pergola?
In veel gevallen is geen vergunning nodig, maar regels verschillen per locatie.
Is een SKALA tijdelijk uitverkocht dan kan je voorbestellen met 10 procent voorschot. Je ontvangt daarna een geschatte leverdatum en reserveert zo je pergola zonder risico.
Hoe stabiel is SKALA bij wind en slecht weer? SKALA is ontworpen voor situaties waar stabiliteit cruciaal is. Dankzij de zware aluminium constructie, brede staanders en dubbelwandige lamellen blijft de pergola stevig staan, ook bij wind en wisselvallig weer. Bij sterke wind raden we aan de lamellen volledig open te zetten om de belasting te verminderen.
Kan SKALA het hele jaar buiten blijven staan?
Ja. SKALA is gebouwd voor permanent buitengebruik, het hele jaar door. De materialen, afwerking en waterafvoer zijn afgestemd op het Belgische en Nederlandse klimaat. Afbreken of afdekken in de winter is niet nodig, zolang de pergola correct geplaatst en onderhouden wordt.
Wat gebeurt er bij stroomuitval of een technisch probleem?
Bij stroomuitval blijven de lamellen in hun huidige stand staan. De motor en elektrische onderdelen zijn betrouwbaar en ontworpen voor langdurig gebruik. Mocht er toch een probleem optreden, dan kan je rekenen op garantie en ondersteuning via Skyggo. Onderdelen worden indien nodig vervangen volgens de garantievoorwaarden.
